Introducing every stunning winning gown from the 2009 Queensland Brides Design Awards.

In late October 2009 the glamorous surrounds of the Presidential Ballroom of Sebel and Citigate Hotel King George Square played host to over 400 guests who quaffed Champagne and nibbled on noodles before settling down to scan the catwalk for their favourite gowns.

Comperes Steve Hill and Leigh Muirhead kept the show on the road, giving us all the divine details on 86 red carpet-worthy creations across fi ve categories. The judgin panel, which included local bridal industry luminaries and three ‘People’s Choice’ judges, had their work cut out for them! Ever
popular was the innovative student Calico Bride category. The ingenuity of our student designers is quite simply jaw-dropping!

The designers may have taken home the trophies but a few chuffed audience members alsowalked away with lucky door prizes, including aholiday to Quay West Resort Noosa. Can’t wait until next year!
