The Queensland Brides Design Awards is held on friday night 8th October at Queensland Brides Wedding Expo, Convention Centre, Southbank. Come along to see Australia's premier bridal wear design awards take place on the catwalk from 6pm.

The Queensland Brides Design Awards sees the state's top designers vie for supremacy in four different categories, Classique, Bride Nouveau, Avant Garde, and Couture Awards. Who will win the coveted Supreme Award and People's Choice Award?

How do you make a wedding gown from a piece of calico? You'll find out at the Queensland Brides Design Awards when you watch the state's most talented young student designers show off their innovative bridal designs – in our ‘Calico Bride' student category.

WHERE: Held at the Queensland Brides Wedding Expo on the catwalk inside Hall 4, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Bank.

WHEN: Friday evening, 8th October 2010 from 6pm.
