Proposal
On the eve of my 30th birthday, he pulled out a ring from down his pants at the Versace Restaurant Vie. We had been together for 6 years so this is not something I expected! We were crying, all customers were cheering. Stayed up till 2am drinking champagne, and celebrated my birthday and engagement with friends the next day.

Funniest Moment
Our Border Collie puppy was the ring bearer. He had a dog tuxedo on with the rings attached to his back, and when we whistled he ran down the aisle towards us. Before the ceremony started he saw the water and took off down the beach, all the wedding guests were chasing him yelling 'stop that dog!' Lucky I wasn't there to see that!

Special Memory
My grandmother passed away a few months before the wedding so I had her antique brooches attached to my wedding bouquet, that way she felt like she was with me the entire day. I never put my flowers down. My grandfather also walked my sister (the maid of honour) down the aisle, this was so lovely for both of them, and it meant my grandfather wasn't sitting on his own.

Special Thanks
Thankyou to our dear friends who lent us their beautiful black BMW four-wheel drive as the wedding car, and chauffered us around for the weddding photo's. They had our favourite music loaded into their ipod and even dressed the car up with ribbon. Not only did this save us alot of money, it was a lovely personal touch to have such close friends with us the whole day.

Advice / Comments
Having a wedding of only 60 people meant we could get around and personally thank every guest. When you're planning a wedding think about what means the most to you. Our families thought we should have the wedding closer to our home, but we decided on Byron Bay becuase it was where we had our first holiday as a couple together and we love the beach!
