French Twist – Wendy Makin reveals new French Collection from BellaDonna Bridal

This sneak peek at Wendy Makin‘s dreamy new French Collection from BellaDonna Bridal has us swooning (in French of course… J’adore! Très jolie!). Already feeling the love in Sydney and Melbourne and set for a May launch at London Bridal Fashion Week, look out for beautiful French laces, soft tulles, flowing chiffons and exquisite beading – plus clever options to change up your look.

Developed in consultation with brides-to-be and former brides, the new collection includes lace sheaths with slip dresses underneath so you can change your look from ceremony to reception as well as detachable trains which can move your bridal look from formal to casual in a flash.

The new designs signal a fresh direction for one of our most loved designers. “There are a lot of brides who are moving away from the more conventional bridal looks and are experimenting with styles as they are doing different things with their style of wedding,” says Wendy.  “I see this collection as appealing to the bride who wants a bohemian look but with a quality bridal cut and fit. The whole bohemian, vintage look is getting stronger and we have embraced that with this collection.”

Featuring a flattering palette of nude, beige, ivory and Champagne, you can browse the French Collection at Wendy’s signature BellaDonna Bridal studio at 906 Stanley Street Woolloongabba.
