Representing some of the coolest places to party on the Gold Coast, Brooke and Kat share their top tips on where to spend one of your last nights as a single girl in the country’s party capital.

1. Paradise Playboyz
You can’t have a hen’s party without a few buff boys thrown in the mix. Forget the cringe-worthy strippers that leave you reaching for the hand sanitiser and head to a Paradise Playboyz show. The world-renowned team are breakdancers and professional male entertainers that offer a show they describe as ‘street-meets-strip’. Think Magic Mike-style dancing with choreography that is damn sure to impress.”

2. The Island Rooftop
The weather on the Gold Coast is perfect all year round, so why there aren’t more rooftop bars always astonishes us. However, The Island Rooftop in Surfers Paradise is in a great location and the festoon lighting will keep your selfie game strong. (#Winning.) Palms, bench seats, beach umbrellas, fairy lights and a retro colour scheme make this a top spot to graze on platters and sample the extensive cocktail list.”

3. Dinner in a private dining room
To feel really luxe, research some of the restaurants that have private dining options available, like Mamasan Kitchen & Bar in Broadbeach. Cocktails with the girls in the bar beforehand, followed by a banquet in the private dining room? Perfection.”

4. Hire a boat!
Have it catered, crank the tunes and cruise the Broadwater while enjoying fun in the sun with your girlfriends. Think of the social media snapshots as the sun sets. There are so many options, you can go full-luxe with a yacht or keep it old school with a houseboat.”

5. Get crafty
Whether it’s creating a flower crown or a class with a cocktail mixologist, mix it up and make memories with experienced-based activities. The Craft Parlour loves hosting hen’s parties and can teach the art of macramé, flower crowns, ceramics, hand lettering, loom weaving, or even how to make a boho leather bag. Icon Cookery School hosts hands-on cocktail crafting classes where you can drink your creation.”
