Join the Club – four elegant Brisbane venues

  |

If old-world romance is a must for your wedding then these four elegant Brisbane venues may be what you’re looking for. Evoking a sense of majestic charm reminiscent of decades past, the grandeur will have you and your sweetheart falling in love all over again in a most enchanting setting. Indulge your taste for the finer things with these opulent Brisbane clubs for your special day.

Brisbane Racing Club

The leafy suburb of Ascot provides the Brisbane Racing Club with a superb wedding location. Acres of manicured lawns and green gardens at Eagle Farm and Doomben Racecourse offer an idyllic outdoor ceremony locale and even better photo opportunities. Reception options are aplenty as the venue offers an abundance of locations to celebrate with guests. If a marquee on the green doesn’t quite suit your taste then a charming heritage space like the elegant Tote Room or intimate Vice Regal Room will realise your wedding vision.

Tattersall’s Club

Take a step back in time and experience the unique vintage style of Tattersall’s Club. Hidden in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, Tattersall’s is an absolute gem when it comes to planning your magical day. The on-site wedding coordinator will be with you every step of the way, ensuring your wedding reception is memorable and stress-free.  The one-of-a-kind heritage listed building (circa 1926) offers ceremony, reception and accommodation options under one roof. There will be no logistical nightmares on your wedding day. With an abundance of spaces available from the ornate ceilings in the Art Deco Members’ Dining Room to the simply Grand Ballroom and the intimate Healy Room – the hardest decision will be choosing which space you love most! Want to see more? Make an appointment with the wedding coordinator, or book a scrumptious High Tea with the girls in the Healy Room.

The Greek Club

As you’re welcomed with open arms by The Greek Club you’ll soon forget the stress of planning your wedding and feel as though you’re among family. If you’re after a venue that boasts a blank canvas (think draping and gorgeous chandeliers) to create your dream wedding, The Greek Club is for you. The Grand Ballroom proudly lives up to its name as it seats up to 650 guests – the bigger the better! The expansive parquetry dance floor teamed with views of the bright city lights ensures room to party all night. In contrast, the more intimate Acropolis Room features maple wood trim with grand plantation shutters that open onto a balcony with beautiful views of the city skyline. It’s the perfect excuse to escape the wedding madness and share some alone time with your new spouse.

The Brisbane Club

Maintaining a tradition of excellence and elegance since 1903, The Brisbane Club is full of history and character. You’ll be spoiled with sweeping views of Anzac Square and a convenient city location. The stained-glass cathedral windows will capture the afternoon light beautifully, while the dramatic chandeliers, warm mahogany and detailing will set the tone for a luxe wedding celebration. For an intimate reception opt for the coveted Cellar Dining Room – your guests will be left with a lasting impression of your nuptials.
