WHAT WE LOVED ABOUT THE VENUE…
It’s so beautiful and peaceful. From the moment we set foot on the property we felt relaxed, and the trees, pond and outdoor ceremony location really sold us.
THE VENUE LOOKED AMAZING WHEN…
The outdoor dance floor was illuminated with pretty, overhead festoon lighting at night.
THE FOOD WAS…
Wholesome and delicious. The salmon was fantastic – it was very tender and the accompanying lemon sauce was really yummy.
DECORATING TIPS?
As a wedding photographer myself, I recognise that one of the most important factors is lighting. With lighting, a little bit goes a long way. We opted for loads of candles at our wedding to keep costs down.
ON THE DAY…
The staff were wonderful. When we had photos at various locations, staff were always on hand to ask us whether we wanted any drinks or canapés. Our sit-down meal was served promptly and cleared away very soon after eating.
THE BEST PHOTO LOCATIONS AROUND THE VENUE…
At the front gates and in a little field around the corner from the venue, which was literally brimming with gorgeous yellow flowers.
OUR GUESTS ESPECIALLY ENJOYED…
Being invited to join us for the first dance under the festoon lights on the outdoor dance floor.
THREE WORDS ABOUT THE VENUE?
Peaceful, relaxing, romantic.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER…
How emotional our ceremony was. It meant so much to both of us, and somehow we managed to blubber our way through it.
WHAT WAS THE BEST THING ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION?
The groomsmen stayed in one of the on-site lodges with a luxurious spa.They all commented how romantic it would have been to share the lodge with their respective partners.
