Jimbour House

Jimbour House

What we loved about the venue…

Jimbour is such a stunning venue that contains so much history in a completely unexpected area. Its location provides country charm and a touch of grandeur all in one. It’s like stumbling across an oasis!

The food and service were…

provided by Karen and the team at Pips n Cherries. They are a catering business from Bell, which is just down the road. We wanted to support the local suppliers and we were not disappointed! They blew us away with their delicious range of homemade meals and canapés and went above and beyond as caterers to ensure the day was perfect!

Jimbour House

The best photo locations at Jimbour House are…

everywhere! There is not a feature of the property that wouldn’t make a stunning photo. With the amazing homestead, gardens and surrounding paddocks you are guaranteed to capture loads of enviable shots!

We decorated with: Hay bales, blackboards that we had made out of old window frames, fresh flowers, fairy lights, old suitcases and ladders, tealights, fruit crates and burlap.

Jimbour House

Three words to describe the venue:

Breathtaking, historic, unique

Jimbour House

What off-site accommodation was close by?

We utilised accommodation in Dalby, particularly Drovers and Fairway. They were very accommodating and looked after our guests. We also organised a bus to take our guests to Jimbour and return them safely when the night concluded.
