Perfect Places

Perfect Place: Room Three Sixty

  |

Looking for the perfect venue? We quizzed QB readers Fiona and Bradley on why they chose their reception venue and why they loved it!

What we loved about the venue… was that we could have our wedding ceremony in a beautiful, historic building and our reception next door in a modern venue with a fantastic view.

The food was… of a high quality with great presentation. We appreciated that we were able to upgrade specific elements of the food and beverage package.

Decorating tips? Room Three Sixty is a lovely modern space in which any theme can spring to life. Our events officer, Katie, sent us some photographs of previous wedding receptions, which helped to inspire our own styling of the venue.

On the day… the staff at Old Government House and Room Three Sixty were very professional and helpful. We felt very well looked after, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our day.

The best photo locations around Old Government House and Room Three Sixty are… everywhere! We had photos taken in the City Botanic Gardens, the university campus and in the CBD.We were so happy that we were able to find such a variety of photography backdrops within such a short distance.

Our guests especially enjoyed… the beauty of Old Government House and were impressed by the magnificent views from Room Three Sixty.

Three words about the venue…

Unique, professional and memorable

I will always remember… how intimate and special the wedding ceremony felt taking place inside Old Government House.

What off-site accommodation was close by? Being so centrally located in Brisbane, there is a huge range of hotels available within walking distance from Old Government House and Room Three Sixty.
