How did you meet?
We locked eyes at the Brisbane Powerhouse and we have only had eyes for each other ever since.

Tell us about the proposal
Adrian took me away for a beautiful weekend at Mt Tamborine, where he organised me to have a full body massage in our room. While I was enjoying that he went and found the perfect location, a deck over-looking Cedar Creek Waterfall where he set up a picnic with yummy locally made cheese, crackers and Champagne.

Why did you choose Mt Tamborine for your wedding?
We wanted a location with a view which was relaxing, to match our personalities. We wanted our wedding day to be an adventure for our guests to enjoy, that’s why we decided not to tell them where the ceremony would be. All they knew was they would be traveling via coaches. While our guests were on their adventure to our surprise ceremony location (Cedar Creek Estate and Vineyard Mt Tamborine) we had pre-recorded a welcome message and a CD of all our favourite songs for them to listen to.

What did you do for your hens and bucks?
For Adrian’s bucks he had a full day event starting with go karting, following on to going out to dinner in Brisbane and then to a sports bar for some fun and entertainment. For my hens the day started with high tea at the Hilton hotel, followed by shopping in Queens St Mall, while getting ready at our beautiful 5 star hotel in the Stamford Plaza, Brisbane. We had drinks and continued on to The Villager Hotel where we had a Sex and the City themed cocktail party with games, topless waiter, cupcakes and lots of laughs.

DIY Details
I have to admit for nearly all of my ideas, I had help in making them a reality. Pintrest was my best friend in the lead up to my big day. My wedding stylist Amey from Pack a Perfect Party and my designer Senna from Senna Jean Designs were the behind-the-scenes angels who made all my thoughts, dreams and ideas into reality. I did make the thank you gifts, we had a personalised candy made by Candy Addictions at Montville and I bought cute little jars and filled them- they looked just perfect on the tables. There were a few other little things along the way.

What was your key styling inspiration?
Bridal magazines, Pintrest and my stylist Amey from Pack a Perfect Party.

What gifts did you give your guests?
Personalised candy in jars.

What was the funniest moment of the day?
Having our  Cavalier King Charles, Chloe as our ring bearer. As soon as we were together at the alter she wanted to make herself known- she is normally a very quiet dog, but she wanted to be a part of the vows and made quite a lot of noise. Another funny moment was my sister in law Heather had been teaching us some dance moves (we both have two left feet) and we wanted our first dance to be funny and entertaining. On the night we managed to do the full routine as taught to us and we had everyone in the room laughing along with us. For two people who cant dance this was pretty spectacular.

What was the most special memory from the day?
Having all of our close family and friends there to celebrate our love for each other.

What did you do for your honeymoon?
We went on a six week adventure to the USA where we had a white Christmas snowboarding at Lake Tahoe. We went to Chicago then picked up a car and drove the old Route 66 all the way to LA. That was the highlight of our honeymoon. We had New Years Eve in Vegas, went to Mexico and ended our honeymoon in Hawaii.
