How did you meet?

We met as friends on a camping trip in Byron Bay. It flooded on that trip which meant being huddled under a tarp for four days, so we got to know each other pretty quickly.

Tell us about the proposal…

We were at Spicers Cloverly Estate. Mark arranged a car to pick me up and was waiting for me (in a suit!) on their stunning deck lit with fairy lights. It felt like a fairytale.

What was the most special memory from the day?

There were multiple moments throughout the day where we thought,  “This is awesome,” whether it was the excitement of getting ready with the bridesmaids and groomsmen,  the moment we saw each other at the ceremony, when the ceremony finished and we took a deep breath and smiled, or dancing the night away with family and friends. We loved each and every moment.

What was the funniest moment?

The best man had the guests in stitches of laughter, but I think the father in-law’s speech took the cake. He was telling a story about having difficulty pronouncing my name in the early days, and little did he realise, he still didn’t have it right.

Do you have any advice for other brides-to-be?

Take a deep breath and live in each beautiful moment. Nothing else matters except enjoying this amazing day with the love of your life.
