Couple Real Weddings

Real Wedding: Tiffany & Daniel

  |

This lush garden affair had us in awe of the dreamy setting that suited this couple just perfectly. Daniel and Tiffany said their ‘I do’s’ in front of their loved ones and amongst the stunning greenery of the Gold Coast hinterland. The fun-loving couple wanted the presence of a duck pond – so ducks were able to witness the nuptials – cute! We do love a garden soirée!

How did you meet?

Through friends at a nightclub in Surfers Paradise nearly seven years ago, we started dating each other nearly five years ago.

Tell us about the proposal…

We went out to the Gold Coast Hinterland for the weekend to the beautiful Ruffles Lodge and Spa. On the second night Dan arranged a beautiful private dinner on our balcony and proposed.

Why did you choose your Ecotudio Fellini for your wedding?

It is a beautiful venue with a gorgeous duck pond filled with lots of ducks.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went to Thailand for seven nights, staying in Patong and Bangkok doing lots of shopping.

What did you do for your hens and bucks nights?

For the bucks they went to Byron Bay for the weekend with the boys and went on a brewery tour.

For the hens we went to Brisbane for the weekend and the maid of honour arranged numerous games and a surprise musician.

Where did you splurge and where did you save?

No real splurges, everything was reasonably priced however creating our own invitations and decorations were a real saving.

What was your key styling inspiration?

We wanted a slightly rustic but still modern themed wedding but mostly we wanted it to be casual and fun. We got most of our ideas from hours of interest. Table centres were wood slices with mason jars filled with flowers, we had a games station outside with board games and lawn games, a lolly buffet etc.

What gifts did you give your guests?

Little boxes of Mini Macarons by Kylie at Whisky Business- Capalaba

What was the most special memory from the day?

The whole day was full of special memories.

Special thanks to…

Ashleigh from Ecostudio Fellini for making sure the day ran smoothly, all of our suppliers for their amazing products, parents for all their hard work and the bridal party for sharing our day.
