See Why A Bridal Breakfast Is The Sweetest Way To Bring The Girls Together

It was a case of total sweet seduction when we spied this pink and gold bridal breakfast feast (there may have even been squealing…). Whether you make your wedding morning one to remember or use this inspo for your hens party, your loyal bridesmaids are in for a real treat. Keep the camera handy to capture every delectable detail.

“One of the most magical times for a bride is the wedding morning where she is able to create lasting memories with some of the most important people in her life,” says Jocelyn of Memories Are Sweet who brought this sumptuous spread together, beautifully captured by Nicole Barralet Photography.

“A bride thinks very carefully about the people she wishes to have stand by her as she says ‘I do’. But not only will they share this moment with her, they will also help her dress in her wedding gown, ensure that everything is perfect and her wishes are coming true, and wipe the tears of joy as the day finally arrives.”

The Palette

We adore the stunning yet soft palette of blush pink with glistening gold accents. “Pink in varying shades is trending in late 2015 into 2016 and teamed with subtle hints of glamorous gold, it really comes to life” says Jocelyn.

Raise a Toast

Many brides begin their wedding day very early so it is important they enjoy a substantial breakfast with a celebratory glass of bubbly and a special sweet treat during the preparations. Memories are Sweet created a Mimosa Bar stocked with a fruit juice, fresh fruit and Champagne and served in gorgeous cut-crystal glasses.

All in the Details

The glittering diamond-shaped embellishment is one of our favourite details. Brought through in the stationery and cocktail stirrers, it would make a fabulous motif to ‘brand’ your wedding.

The Menu

Local lovelies Velvetier sent our sweet tooth into overdrive with their perfect melting moments and almost-too-beautiful-to-eat handmade chocolates, accented in gold. The freshly-made pancake stack, topped with fresh fruit and syrup, was an instant QB office fave.

Gold Rush

Gold-rimmed plates and gleaming cutlery from Gold Wedding Hire all presented on a glittering gold sequin tablecloth, bringing the details and florals to life. The girls were also able to select additional treats from the handmade hexagonal display case, finished in gold to create a stunning backdrop.

Gorgeous Gowns

The Begitta ‘Butterfly’ gown created an elegant yet effortless bridal look. “When paired with the Rosie ball gown skirt the bride’s dramatic ceremony entrance is only a heartbeat away,” notes Jocelyn. “And she can remove the full length skirt for her reception and dance the night away!” Soft pink bridesmaids gowns complemented the theme perfectly – and interchangeable straps allow an individual look for each maid.

The Blooms

The organic, unstructured bouquet from Bella Bloom Floral Designs is bang on trend, overflowing with foliage and packed with floral texture. Dahlias embellished with gold dust are a special touch while hydrangea, ‘sweet avalanche’ roses, and hyacinths complement the soft pink bridesmaids gowns beautifully. Delicate floral jewellery, including floral rings and hand-crafted cuff, added a pretty focal point for the maids.

Beauty Point

Carly from Whisk Hair created an elegant free-flowing style for the bride and bridesmaids with soft curls. And the gorgeous makeup from Karla at Blissful Makeup featured fresh pink shimmers with soft peachy-pink lips to complement the colour of the gowns and florals.
