Styling inspiration from the new king of cool: Ryan Gosling
The world is pretty much obsessed with Ryan Gosling’s style (and for good reason). But if there’s ever a time to take inspiration from one of Hollywood’s most dapper gentleman it’s now (thank you, La La Land). Take a leaf out of the Gos’s

Slim-fit pants are key for nailing this look, and choosing something properly tailored should be top priority. Team with a crisp white shirt and always have a little cuff showing under the jacket (preferably single-breasted with an eye-catching lapel). Climate permitting, three-piece suits are another classic ‘Ryan look’ that grooms are loving – same goes for ivory-jacket tuxedos with black ties for evening-ready style.
Getting adventurous with colour (think deep jewel tones) can work for some grooms, but sometimes you can’t go past classic black or oh-so-hot-right-now blue. If your fella’s not game to try Ryan’s electric-blue look, go with navy – a modern gentleman’s go-to.

The square life
Ryan’s also a fan of pocket squares, so play around with silk options that match the tones in the suit. Or, when in doubt, stick to white
If your groom’s hanging out in the sunshine (well, this is Queensland), slip on some ’60s-esque Ray Ban Wayfarers for a sharp look.
Don’t let the old-world charm stop here – think wingtip oxfords with dark socks. Keep it simple.
