Wedding Inspo: Tropical North Queensland

Tropical North Queensland has to be one of our favourite wedding locales. Between the deep blue waves, emerald canefields and verdant rainforests, there’s a gorgeous location just waiting to be discovered – and enjoyed on the most important day of your life.

We took a flick through our wedding archive to find our favourite TNQ photos – the ones we know will have you dreaming of your own sunshine-filled tropical day. Take a peek and let us know your favourites…

Who: Jessie-Lee and Brendan

When: 28 June, 2014

Where: Cairns

Why: Just a spoonful of sugar makes for a sweeter life, so what about a field that’s packed with towering sugar cane stalks? This photo is oh-so-sweet and showcases one of TNQ’s top sights.

Who: Melanie and Lee

When: 19 October, 2013

Where: Mareeba

Why: A TNQ sunset is clearly like no other, as Mel and Lee found out on their big day. Such a picturesque look, with the sun sinking into the trees and our bride’s veil being caught on the tropical breezes.
