The chosen bride-to-be and a guest will travel to Brisbane courtesy of Queensland Brides and Virgin Blue, enjoy two nights accommodation for two in a city hotel, a pampering spa treatment one afternoon, dinner for two on both nights and be the star model in our front cover shoot, complete with designer gown, hair and make-up supplied.

Ten semi-finalists will be chosen and uploaded to the Queensland Brides website, where the public will be invited to vote for their three favourite potential cover girls. The winner is then decided by our judging panel and announced on 29th February 2008. Our cover girl and guest will arrive in Brisbane on Friday 14th March for a weekend of prizes and pampering!

All entrants must enter online at www.queenslandbrides.com.au and answer all entry questions. Images ONLY may be posted to Queensland Brides. Entrants are required to submit 3 photographs of themselves. A full length photograph must be included among these 3 images. Photographs must be in JPG format and must have been taken within the last 6 months. Entrants are required to supply personal information such as: Full name, contact details, dress size, height, hair colour. One entry per person only. The Queensland Brides judging panel will decide on ten (10) semi-finalists from all submissions. Public will be asked to vote on these ten (10) semi-finalists. The three submissions with the most votes will become finalists. The Queensland Brides judging panel will decide on one (1) winner from the three (3) finalists. There will be one (1) winner only and the decision as judged by Queeensland Brides is final. If the original winner is unable to participate, Queensland Brides retains the right to choose a new winner from the two remaining finalists. Competition is open to persons who are 18 years or older and are residents of Queensland. Entrants must be engaged as of 1st November 2007 and either remain engaged or be married as of May 1st 2008. Loss of income, if any, is the sole responsibility of winner. Competition entrants agree to their name, region and photographs being used in publicity materials in any media, and agree to be available to be contacted for publicity purposes during and after the competition.
