• Ten semi-finalists will be chosen from all entries by the Queensland Brides judging panel and uploaded to the magazine's website, where the public is invited to view and vote for their favourite potential cover girls.
• The three entrants with the most amount of public votes will go onto become the finalists
• The winner is then decided by our judging panel and announced to the public on 27th February 2009.
• Our cover girl and guest will arrive in Brisbane on Friday 13th March for a weekend of prizes and pampering!

Last year saw the first inaugural Queensland Brides Cover Girl competition held, with Kalico-Pearl winning the opportunity to grace the cover of the Winter 2008 edition. Kalico-Pearl traveled to Brisbane courtesy of Queensland Brides and Virgin Blue, and enjoyed two nights accommodation at the Marriott Brisbane. Photos from the shoot are above, plus a full write up appeared in the Winter 2008 issue of Queensland Brides.

• 10 Semi-finalists announced on or about 3rd February 2009
• Public voting will commence on or about 5th February 2009
• Public voting will close on or about 22nd February 2009
• 3 Finalists announced on or about 24th February 2009
  
• Winner announced publicly on or about 27th February 2009
  
• Winner and guest will arrive in Brisbane on 13th March 2009
  
• Winner and guest will depart Brisbane on 15th March 2009
• Winner to feature on the cover of the Winter edition to be released in May 2009
  
• Queensland Brides magazine is the organiser and promoter of this Front Cover Search.
  
• Entry to this Front Cover Search is via www.QueenslandBrides.com.au. (Images ONLY may be posted to Queensland Brides)
  
• All entrants must answer 3 questions.
  
• All entrants must provide 3 photographs with their submission. A full length photograph must be included among these 3 images. Photographs must be in JPG format and must have been taken within the last 6 months.
  
• Entrants are required to supply personal information such as: Full name, contact details, dress size, height, hair colour.
  
• One entry ONLY per person.
  
• Entry is open to persons who are 18 years or older and are residents of Queensland ONLY.
  
• Entrants must be engaged as of 1st November 2008 and either remain engaged or be married as of May 1st 2009 (proof may be required).
  
• Ten (10) Semi-finalists will be decided from all submissions by The Queensland Brides judging panel.
• Chosen Semi-finalists will be notified by telephone and/or email by a member of Queensland Brides.
  
• If a Semi-finalist is unable to participate or confirm availability of dates or does not respond within 2 working days, she automatically forfeits her spot and Queensland Brides reserves the right to choose a replacement.
  
• The ten (10) Semi-finalists will be displayed on www.QueenslandBrides.com.au and the public will be asked to vote for their favourite potential cover girl. (one vote only per day)
  
• The three submissions with the most votes will become finalists.
  
• All finalists will be required to sign documentation agreeing that they:
  • Have not undertaken or been in any situation or occurrence which brings or may bring public disrepute or that may reflect unfavorably upon Queensland Brides magazine
  • Are responsible for loss of income, if any, due to travelling to Brisbane on the stated weekend
  • Agree to a follow-up story on the Winner's Weekend as well as coverage of their marriage may appear in a future edition of Queensland Brides magazine
• The Queensland Brides judging panel will decide on one (1) winner from the three (3) finalists.
  
• There will be one (1) winner only and the judges decision is final.
  
• If a Winner is unable to participate or confirm availability of dates as mentioned above, does not respond within 2 working days of notification or unforeseen circumstances prevents Queensland Brides from getting finalist to Brisbane on time, she automatically forfeits her spot and Queensland Brides reserves the right to choose a replacement winner.
  
• All entrants agree to their name, region and photographs being used in publicity materials in any media, and agree to be available to be contacted for publicity purposes during and after the competition.
