Your wedding expo survival kit

  |

When it comes to attending the Queensland Brides Wedding & Honeymoon Expo, make like a Boy Scout and be prepared. Here’s a list of the things you’ll need to bring with you.

People

Bring your mum and your bridesmaids – in all honesty, you probably don’t need anyone else. Unless your fiancé is really interested in your wedding plans, let him have a boy’s day at home. The key thing is, don’t bring too many people or you’ll be swamped with conflicting and confusing opinions.

Phone

As if you’d leave home without this anyway! But make sure your battery’s fully charged so you can take all the pictures and notes you need, and schedule any appointments in your phone’s calendar. (pop a notebook and pen into your bag as well – it’ll be a godsend if your phone runs out of juice).

Bag

Where else will you put all your goodies and freebies? The Queensland Brides Wedding & Honeymoon Expo provides brides with their own sweet tote (while stocks last), but make sure you’ve got a bag for anything else you might pick up on the day that won’t fit.

Purse

If you book anything at the expo, you’ll probably have to pay a deposit, so don’t forget your credit cards (and some cash, just in case).

The Queensland Brides Wedding & Honeymoon Expo is on 13-15 October 2017 at the Brisbane Convention Centre. Get your tickets now.
