After her own wedding budget blew out in 2023, Grace launched Budget Wedding Stories the following year, a social media account built to help brides save thousands on their big day. She was no stranger to weddings; Grace had been behind the camera since May 2017, and those years of experience gave her a front-row seat to the tips, tricks, and budget-saving ideas that actually work.
One thing kept standing out, though: wedding photography is expensive, often one of the biggest line items in the entire budget. That realisation became the heart of Budget Wedding Stories, a mission to offer beautiful photography and, occasionally, videography without the beautiful price tag. To make it happen, Grace brought together a network of talented photographers and videographers from across Australia, all sharing her passion for capturing couples' special days affordably. Since then, the team has photographed weddings across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia.
Now, in 2026, momentum is building fast. The team is expanding, capacity is filling quickly, and Budget Wedding Stories has just started booking weddings in the Northern Territory, edging closer to becoming a truly Australia-wide option for couples who want stunning memories without blowing the budget.
The mission remains the same: capturing beautiful love stories across the country and helping couples celebrate big while spending smart, so their wedding day stays with them forever.
