Just under two hours' drive southwest of Brisbane, The Abbey is an exclusive and elegant wedding venue in Warwick, specialising in enchanting fairy-tale weddings, be it an elopement, an intimate wedding with 30 loved ones or a grand affair with 140 guests celebrating!
Formerly a convent, the sandstone, castle-like Abbey has stood for over 130 years in its elegant country garden. A look inside reveals a combination of stunning original stained glass windows, high vaulted ceilings, antique and contemporary furnishings, sleek heritage décor and vintage old-world charm with modern tech comforts. This is truly a fairy tale setting for the most romantic at heart.
The Abbey can also alleviate the stress of transporting between venues, offering accommodation for up to 32 guests, a ceremony, a reception, and unforgettable photo locations all at one venue.
Please choose from our chapel or gardens for your ceremony, accompanied by canapés in our beautiful grounds, a reception room with chandeliers, and on-site accommodation with breakfast the following morning.
All-inclusive wedding packages for ceremony and reception or reception only can be created to suit most styles and budgets, and there are selected dates for elopement offers and mid-week savings.
