What do I need to ask my venue?
AMY: “It’s important that whatever the floral installation is being hung from is structurally sound for load bearing, as many of these designs carry weight. Speak with your venue about these points and engage with a florist if you have any further questions.”
BIANCA: “Time restrictions are important to note, as some hanging installations need to be designed on-site. If they can be pre-designed and transported, then great. But they still take time to install. Some venues only allow entry a few hours before. This needs to be considered to make sure the florist has enough staff or time to complete the masterpiece.”
