Full of sweet moments and gorgeous details (check those flowers!), Emily and Nathan’s Townsville wedding was one to really remember. After meeting at their local church, falling in love and becoming engaged, the two decided to make things official with a special Christmastime wedding (December 22, 2018). Well, it is the most wonderful time of the year!
After a morning of cloudy skies and the occasional rain shower, Emily and Nathan were treated to perfect sunshine when they met at South Townsville’s St John’s Anglican Church for their ceremony. Exchanging vows in front of their closest friends and family, the two were full of joy when they later had post-ceremony photos taken at the beautiful Queens Gardens.
Fitting in time for admiring the city’s iconic Castle Hill and soaking up the sunshine by the water, the newlyweds joined loved ones for a fun-filled reception at the stylish at The Ville Resort. Upping the festive-feel, guests popped Christmas crackers (we’re told the party hats were a hit!), while a delicious three-course feast and an indulgent wedding cake had everyone in high spirits. Capping everything off, Emily and Nathan shared a romantic first dance before the groom reunited with his highschool garage band for an exciting performance. Sounds like a brilliant day to us!
