For wedding venues in 2018, brides are going into the woods… and we can see why. Whimsical and fairytale-like (not to mention shady and cool), woodland settings are overloaded with charm.
The trick with this trend is choosing a ‘feel’. Boho-inspired celebrations with relaxed décor (like wooden benches and picnic setups) and festival-chic lighting (we’re talking festoon lighting and fairy lights) are utterly dreamy. For a more formal atmosphere, consider vintage wooden seating for the ceremony and long tables dressed with linen tablecloths and candelabras for a ‘dinner in the woods’ reception. Whichever you opt for (or maybe you go for a fusion of both), embrace the natural surroundings and go all-out with florals and foliage.
