WHAT ARE THE NEXT EXPO DATES?

WHERE IS THE EXPO HELD? Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC), Merivale St & Glenelg Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO SEE AND DO AT THIS EXPO?

HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS? Tickets are $15 each at the door. Or you can save by purchasing with our online special. One entry ticket will give you multi-entry to the expo on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday (meaning you can visit as many times as you like over the whole weekend!). Tickets are non-refundable. HOW DO I GET TO THE BCEC? A comprehensive network of trains, buses and city cats (ferries) link the Centre with Brisbane city and suburbs. Translink tickets are the best way to visit and travel around the city. The Translink website contains more details:http://www.translink.com.au/

Q. By Train? The closest train station is South Brisbane; only a few minutes walk away.  A regular Air Train service operates between Brisbane’s international and domestic airports.  Travelling time is approximately 25mins. Tickets are available from the Information Desk.

Q. By Bus? The Cultural Centre is the main hub for most bus routes, only a few minutes walk away adjacent to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. A Free Loop downtown bus service circles Brisbane’s Central Business District only.

Q. By River Cat? The CityCat Ferry stops at Southbank Terminal 2 which is located on the Clem Jones Promenade.  CityCats run daily from 5.30 am-10.30 pm.

Q. By Taxi? A dedicated taxi rank is located at the main entrance of the Centre on the Cnr Merivale and Glenelg Streets.  Taxis are also accessible in other locations in the South Bank precinct including the 2 hotels – Rydges and Mantra.

WHAT IS THE ACCESSIBILITY AT THE BCEC? The Wedding & Honeymoon Show by Queensland Brides is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.

 ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED? AND DO THEY NEED A PAID TICKET? Yes, of course, we welcome children of all ages. Entry is free for anyone under the age of 18.

ARE THERE ANY PLACES TO EAT AND DRINK AT THE EXPO? There are food and drink options available onsite.

WILL THERE BE FASHION PARADES AT THE EXPO?  Yes, The Wedding & Honeymoon Show by Queensland Brides is your opportunity to see the biggest display of wedding fashion in Queensland.  Seeing the daily fashion parades is included with your general admission ticket.

Fashion Parades:
Friday: 7:30 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am, 12.30 pm and 2:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am, 12.30 pm and 2:00 pm

WILL THERE BE SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS AT THE EXPO? Yes, we have daily FREE group gatherings to help you get the most out of your wedding planning. Space is limited.

WHAT KIND OF EXHIBITORS CAN I MEET AT THE EXPO? There are hundreds of wedding experts on hand to meet you and showcase their products and services to you.

WILL MY INBOX BE SPAMMED AFTER ATTENDING THE EXPO?  Absolutely not! We use QR code technology to ensure that only you choose who you wish to give your details to. Upon entry (or at the time of your online purchase) you will receive a unique QR code which is registered to you. By scanning this at vendor stands, you opt-in to receive further contact from your chosen vendor. We do not supply the registration data of our attendees to our exhibitors, and we DO NOT sell our lists, EVER!

PARENT ROOMS
The Brisbane Convention Centre have Parent Rooms available which feature all you need to feed and change in privacy and comfort. You can find Parent Rooms located on Merivale Street Main Foyer, just behind Merivales Cafe and one located on Grey Street Main Foyer next to the Information Desk. You will also find change tables in all of the uni-sex accessible toilets throughout the Centre.
