Queensland Brides Wedding Expo 16 August 2026 at Brisbane City Hall

There’s something about a fashion parade at Brisbane City Hall that just hits right – as you can see in these beautiful images by VinoRaa Photographer.

On Sunday, 8 February 2026, the Main Auditorium became a runway of modern bridal style, sharp tailoring and confident design. Set against the grandeur of polished timber and soaring ceilings, expo attendees were treated to a full-scale fashion showcase featuring some of Queensland’s most respected bridal and menswear names. And it delivered.

The Bridal Designers

Four standout bridal labels brought their collections to the stage, each with a distinct point of view:

Erin Clare Bridal

Here’s a version that reflects what you saw on the runway:

Contemporary silhouettes, structured bodices, and beautifully considered detail were on full display on the runway with Erin Clare Bridal. Erin’s gowns looked confident and fashion‑forward without losing elegance, showing exactly how modern bridal is done right.

The Blushery

Romantic with a twist. The Blushery’s collection stepped beautifully into a softer, almost Bridgerton-inspired mood. Think flowing silhouettes, statement headpieces and one unforgettable blue veil that had the audience talking.

Ivory & White

Known for specialising in the modern mini bridal dress, Ivory & White surprised in the best way this season. While their signature short styles remain a standout for fashion-forward brides, their full-length gowns brought serious wow factor to the runway.

Gemma Leakey Bridal

A relatively new name to the Queensland bridal scene, Gemma Leakey brings a fresh perspective from the UK. Her collection showcased sleek, modern and beautifully minimalist silhouettes, all very refined, precise and undeniably couture in their finish.

Each collection showed the breadth of what “bridal” means right now. There is no single bridal look anymore, and Queensland brides are all the better for it.

Groom Had Their Moment Too

House of Falcone

Known for Italian-inspired tailoring with a focus on precision and style, House of Falcone impressed on the runway this season. From sharp, classic suiting to lighter, modern tones perfect for Queensland weddings, each piece felt considered, confident, and effortlessly stylish.

Mitchell Ogilvie

A Brisbane institution in luxury menswear, Mitchell Ogilvie delivered suiting that was refined, modern, and impeccably tailored. Their runway collection showcased timeless elegance with contemporary touches, giving grooms a clear sense of how to make a statement on their wedding day while staying true to their personal style.

The Team Behind the Runway

As always, it’s the collaboration that brings the show to life.
Tamblyn Models took to the stage with professionalism and presence, bringing every look to life with confidence. The team from KT Beauty Bridal finessed each model with impeccable hairstyling and bridal makeup, truly showcasing their talent. The styling demonstrated exactly why brides (and grooms) can feel completely confident entrusting their wedding-day look to them.

The music by Luxe Entertainment was once again on point. A modern, interesting song selection kept the energy flowing from first walk to final bow, creating a runway atmosphere that felt elevated but never overdone. And, let’s not forget the backdrop! A breath of fresh floral brilliance by The Blossom Tree framed a classic white French door installation, creating a striking contrast against the rich timber of Brisbane City Hall. The vibrant florals, layered with colour, texture and scale, added a contemporary edge while still feeling romantic. It was the perfect frame for every gown, every suit, every confident step down the runway.

The Queensland Brides Wedding Expo fashion parades are always a highlight of the day. We love watching couples get so excited to see these beautiful designs on stage, giving them a glimpse of how they might look on their wedding day. And then, having the chance to meet the designers and boutiques in the room after the show is priceless.

Don’t miss our next bridal runway show on August 16 at the expo – and come see for yourself why this wedding expo is very different to any other wedding expo in Brisbane.
