FILE & IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
Digital copy is ONLY acceptable using the following software:
- Adobe InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Images can be supplied in RGB or CMYK formats for in-house conversion.
- PDF files must be supplied as CMYK to our High-Resolution Job Preset (please request this to be sent to you).
DOCUMENTS / PICTURES / LOGOS ETC
- Minimum resolution for images is 300dpi at print size.
- Files supplied in Illustrator format should be CMYK only with all links and fonts either supplied or embedded.
- Black text should not be a mixture of CMYK colours – i.e. registration. If you wish to create “Rich Black” colours for larger areas, our colour breakdown for this is 30c, 10m, 10y, 100k.
TRANSFER MEDIUM
- Email your file (7mb max) to production@graphicpublishing.com.au
- Larger files can be sent via Dropbox or WeTransfer to production@graphicpublishing.com.au
- Colour proofing: If colour correctness is critical, a certified proof should be supplied – Queensland Brides can take no responsibility for material that is not accompanied by a certified digital proof.
IN-HOUSE CREATION
- We offer a basic artwork creation service for all clients of Queensland Brides magazine.
- This service includes us designing ONE advertisement based on your brief and supply of artwork elements.
- We are not an AD AGENCY and artwork creation does not include editing of photos or extensive work which otherwise should be undertaken by an AD AGENCY.
- The approval process includes ONE complimentary change.
- Artwork creation and/or correction that falls outside of these guidelines will be charged at $80 per hour (with prior notification).
