Cordare Studio shows off beautiful rustic beach wedding

The weather has well and truly warmed up and we know what that means… beach weddings. To be fair though, it’s warm enough even in winter to tie the knot by the water here in Queensland. When Cordare Studio showed us one of their recent beach weddings we couldn’t help but swoon a little – and share it with you!

Taking inspiration from their scenic Fraser Island surroundings, Belinda and Dan tied the knot in a laid-back beach wedding filled with coastal glamour on 22 April, 2016. “It was the best day of our lives and the day people would be talking about for years to come,” says Belinda. “For those that couldn’t make the wedding, however, we wanted plenty of stories and incredible pictures to share with them on our arrival home.”

When Belinda first met Dan she was already certain on booking with Cordare for her possible wedding, after falling in love with their work earlier. “I was looking through images from other photographers and felt that no one had what Cordare had,” says Belinda.

When Dan popped the question, the two started planning a gorgeous Fraser Island wedding… which meant using a photographer who was happy to travel by 4×4 and camp for the event. “We kidnapped Paul and Helen for three days for what was the most amazing wedding.” Judging from these images, we’d say it paid off. “Paul wouldn’t let anything get in the way of the perfect picture, he was a perfectionist through and through.”

Celebrating in stunning style, the two newlyweds partied the night away in a clear marquee with views of the twinkling stars above – heaven. Dancing barefoot in the sand and getting in plenty of romantic photos together, Belinda and Dan made beautiful memories that’ll last a lifetime. “Having Cordare photograph our wedding was by far the best choice we made for our entire wedding,” says Belinda. “When all you have left after your big day is just the memories in your mind and the images, photography really matters.”
