Brisbane brides (and grooms), the industrial chic venue of your dreams has just opened up in trendy Newstead. A former panel beater’s workshop, The Refinery ticks all the boxes for contemporary warehouse weddings – think minimalist style, polished concrete floors, a timeless monochrome palette and a laid-back outdoor courtyard. We’re in love already.
It’s all the brainchild of husband-and-wife team Rach and Dan Myers from Rogue Bistro. Inspired by their own wedding planning in 2015, the two wanted to create the perfect setting for incredible, food-focused weddings (spoiler alert: they nailed it!). Sure to impress gourmands, The Refinery’s share plates, grazing tables and canapés look straight out of Insta – #FoodHeaven. Scroll below to check out their spectacular feasts!
Yet to lock in a venue? Available for bookings in July and August, The Refinery is offering couples free venue hire valued at $2,000. Covering furniture hire, AV hire, crockery, glasswear and linen use, and bar/waitstaff hire, the offer also includes the help of a wedding coordinator in the lead-up to the special day and a dedicated event manager on the day. To find out more, visit The Refinery’s website here. Happy daydreaming!
