Romance is a rush.
And I’ve been swept up in it from the moment I started flicking through our shortlist of real weddings for this issue. So much real, raw emotion and elation. So many fairytale locations. So many gorgeous gowns! What makes a look or a moment ‘romantic’ is hard to quantify but for me it’s a feeling that envelopes you when you see something (or someone) that makes your breath catch and your heart skip a beat. A score of soaring classical music starts up somewhere in the distance and a wave of joy washes over you. You start smiling. You may even be tempted to say “awww”. But maybe that’s just me…
