There are couples who may prefer a wedding and reception at a Cleveland restaurant but not just at any restaurant… it has to be something like the Courthouse Restaurant.
The Courthouse is made of timber and sandstone. The place is over 160 years old and as such, has been declared a heritage landmark. The cozy ambiance is amped up with three wood-powered fireplaces, especially on cold nights. A private viewing is encouraged.
For your wedding, the ceremony is best held on a garden lawn with Moreton Bay as the backdrop. An in-house wedding co-ordinator will help you touch up the location to be as elegant as possible for your ceremony. Take the opportunity to choose spots in Moreton Bay for your iconic wedding photography shoot. There are also options to hold it indoors if weather conditions are difficult.
The reception inside the restaurant is a sight to behold. One of the rooms has the wood fireplace in the centre of one wall. This may even serve as a homely romantic picture. For set menus you have a choice of two-course meals with main and dessert, and an entrée and main meal, and a three-course meal including entrée, main course, and dessert. There are at least five choices per course, so it’s a delight to pick. If you’ve been to the Courthouse before, some choices could be at the top of your head for the reception, but you may arrange for special dishes if you have guests with dietary concerns.
Expect a solid reputation when looking at The Courthouse for your special day. The restaurant has earned Queensland and national awards from the ABIA for being a top reception venue in 2011, 2012, and 2014. Why not take the leap here?
