Congratulations to Helena & Tony Karkovic, who are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary today!
Known as one of Queensland’s shining stars in the fashion industry, Helena knows a thing or two about weddings, having dressed brides in contemporary couture-designed wedding gowns for two decades, under her label Helena Couture Designs. Yet, she is the first to recognise that there is more to a marriage than a wedding celebration.
After 300 months, 1,304 weeks and 9,131 days together, Helena willingly admits that making it to a Silver Anniversary takes a lot of work and that “a perfect marriage is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.” And, as a testament to this sentiment, she penned this beautiful and heartfelt poem to her self-declared soulmate, Tony. 💓 Aww!
