However, this year has seen Helena stepping beyond the bridal world to embrace more formal wear design and she can now add these three beautiful girls (and their parents!) to her long list of happy clients.
To celebrate the rewarding design journey for Rhiannon, Cameryn and Claudia, Helena organised a styled shoot with each with the intention to honour their inner and outer beauty while documenting this extraordinary time of their lives.
It took one consolation with Helena for Rhiannon to realise that HOPE was her dream dress. Chosen for its elegant V-neckline, high split and modern pockets that capture the luscious soft drape of the full skirt, HOPE highlights the best of Rhiannon’s beautiful figure, allowing her to feel sexy in the classiest of ways. Move over; the young lady in red is here! With its sexy yet classic style, Scarlett is a two-for-one winning design. Showcasing Cameryn’s lovely long legs, the thigh-high split on this custom-designed beaded lace dress forms the base of the design, while the full detachable overskirt, with modern concealed pockets, elevates the look to timeless elegance. For timid Claudia, her custom couture formal dress was an opportunity to express her unique style. Taking the initial idea of a 50’s silhouette as the inspiration, Helena used a mixture of textiles, including a black leather corset and layers of tulle, to create a beautiful yet downright funky, 2-piece design.
