Entertaining ‘kids zone’ ideas for your wedding

Expecting a few little ones at your wedding? Keeping them entertained and, well, on their best behaviour can be a bit of a challenge – no need to freak out though! To help make your celebration the best ever, we’ve gathered a few kid-friendly ideas that will take your reception’s ‘kids zone’ to the next level. We’d actually be tempted to join in on a few of these activities ourselves! No judgement…

Colouring-in table

Think: Assorted colouring-in books (you can even get personalised wedding versions), crayons and pencils. Bonus tip: Use butchers’ paper for the tablecloth (it helps protect the table from any out-of-the-lines scribbles!).

Craft session

Think: Simple, kid-friendly projects like decorating a paper crown, personalising a takeaway box for their wedding favour or just give them a blank canvas and let their creativity take over!

Think: Cheap dress-up costumes from discount stores like magicians, fairies, animals, superheroes and Disney princesses (if you score an Elsa costume, you’re basically guaranteed ‘cool’ status!)
