With everything ready for an outdoor ceremony in the venue’s manicured gardens, Laura and Andrew’s wedding quickly changed to an intimate indoor affair when grey skies appeared. Making the swift decision to change things up, the team at Flaxton Gardens moved the festivities into the venue’s enchanting Barrel Room (one of Flaxton’s three wet-weather options) just in time and it all went down a hit. “I didn’t have to stress about a single thing,” says Laura. “They were so helpful and took care of everything – before the big day and on the day.”

Everyone still dry and in high spirits, the downpour stopped and the newlyweds were treated to a breathtaking vista of rolling hills shrouded in mist for their post-ceremony photos. “It was such a magical day and the weather just made everything seem so more magical,” says Laura. We can imagine – with sweeping views from Moreton Island to Noosa, Flaxton is wedding-photo-backdrop goals.

Joining loved ones again in the Barrel Room for their reception, Laura and Andrew enjoyed every single moment of their dream celebration. “The food was amazing and the venue is to-die-for,” says Lauren. “I’m so glad we picked Flaxton Gardens for our special day.”
