The Gold Coast might not exactly spring to mind when it comes to planning a countryside wedding, but for these high-school sweethearts it’s where they discovered their perfect venue.
Why did you choose this venue?
“The venue is absolutely beautiful before you add even a single decoration. As soon as we laid eyes on it, we knew that it was the place for us.”
Did the menu influence your decision?
“The staff at Paradise Country were incredibly flexible, organising a personalised menu that we loved and was within our budget. It was a big ask, but they were more than happy to accommodate us. This definitely helped us when we made the decision about our reception venue.”
Tell us about your decorations…
“We loved the venue just as it was, so we only incorporated table settings and a few homemade signs.”
What’s the most unique thing about the venue?
“Definitely its location – despite being on the Gold Coast, it feels like it’s in the middle of the country. For us, it felt like a home away from home.”
Did the venue help you resolve any problems or challenges?
“Allera, our wedding coordinator, was my lifesaver – she helped us through all the planning, and organised everything to the point that, when we arrived, we were incredibly calm about the day ahead.”
What’s the best piece of advice the venue gave you?
“To enjoy our day as it would go by so fast, and to not worry, as everything would work out.”
What’s the one thing you’d tell other couples considering this venue?
“Go for it! It’s the best decision you’ll make.”
The most memorable feedback from your guests?
“Everyone was impressed by the truly outstanding staff who were prompt with their service and very accommodating – oh, and the absolutely beautiful venue.”
Your most precious memory?
“Arriving at Paradise Country in a Clydesdale-drawn carriage.”
