From the wedding of Anna + Tyrone
Anna and Tyrone’s wedding cake is the perfect example of modern tropical-luxe style! Upping the glamour, a golden-hued metallic bottom-tier added just the right amount of shimmer for this magnificent creation. We’re also big fans of the unique lattice-work detail and the chic orchid and anthurium cake topper – very contemporary!
From the wedding of Amanda + Owen
Simple but oh-so lovely, Amanda and Owen’s wedding cake really caught our attention. Embracing their wedding’s bushland setting, the two opted to serve a naked buttercream-iced cake with enchanting native Australian foliage. It gets a big tick from us!
From the wedding of Kristine + Jason
Timeless and feminine (but not in an over-the-top way), Kristine and Jason’s wedding cake was one we’d happily indulge in over and over again! Adorned with pale pink and white roses and a custom cake-topper (we love it when couples include their beloved pets in their weddings!), this buttercream-iced creation was a hit with loved ones.
From the wedding of Sharni + James
Keeping with their wedding’s boho-luxe style, Sharni and James treated guests to this delightful naked buttercream-iced cake. Nailing the ‘tall, single-tier cake’ trend, they topped it all off (pun intended) with a glittery custom cake-topper and masses of peach, yellow, pink, green, orange and white flowers. So sweet!
From the wedding of Chelsea + George
Featuring an airbrushed geometric pattern and smooth buttercream icing, Chelsea and George’s wedding cake worked perfectly with their ‘modern elegance’-inspired look. A basic (but certainly not boring!) colour palette of ivory and fresh white tones made the greenery and fresh flower decoration really pop.
From the wedding of Alison + Peter
Pretty in pink, Alison and Peter’s wedding cake looked utterly delicious – look at that generous buttercream icing detail! Completing the triple-tier creation, roses, hydrangeas and yellow ‘billy button’ flowers (yes, that’s what they’re called) added a touch of old-world romance.
From the wedding of Lauren + Adam
There are indulgent cakes, then there’s this this impressive creation! Spoiling friends and family, Lauren and Adam served a gilded single-tier cake and adorable mini triple-tier cakes for their special day. Three words – wish we were there!
From the wedding of Kylie + Daniel
Simple and sophisticated, Kylie and Daniel’s double-tier wedding cake was one to really love – especially when served on that incredible greenery-adorned hanging cake stand! Clean ivory buttercream icing and white roses perfectly suited the couple’s black-tie dress-code.
From the wedding of Paige + Jesse
Also keeping things slightly pared-back, Paige and Jesse served this fabulous triple-tier creation for their special day. The stand-out details for us? The subtle ‘V’ detail in the top two tiers and the brilliant marble detail on the base tier.
From the wedding of Rebecca + Matthew
Thick buttercream icing, a cute cake-topper and plenty of peach- and white-hued blooms – it’s enough to capture our hearts, here at QB. Hitting the nail on the head, Rebecca and Matthew’s wedding cake looked almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
From the wedding of Kristy + Nathan
Sweet-tooths, this is the cake for you! Decorated with gooey caramel drip detail, macarons and even pomegranate segments, Kristy and Nathan’s wedding cake looked so, so delicious! The burgundy dahlias and the native Australian greenery also get our approval.
From the wedding of Courtney + Sam
Embracing a different (but truly gorgeous!) look, Courtney and Sam went for this intricately decorated creation. We’re amazed by the fondant flower, the ‘watercolour’ floral pattern and the wafer-thin daisy-shaped details. Some serious talent went into this beauty!
From the wedding of Emily + Nathan
Um, yum! Emily and Nathan’s show-stopping double-tier wedding cake is one we won’t soon forget. Decorated with delicious chocolate drip detail, orchids and native Australian foliage, it’s a chocolatey delight that we just can’t get over. Save us a slice!
