What do I need to ask my florist?
AMY: “It’s important to check that whoever you’re employing to create a hanging installation has experience. It’s worthwhile investing in getting someone who can hang your design safely and achieve the design that you’re hoping for. Talk openly with your florist about what you’re wanting to achieve and they will be able to assist you as to how it may work.”
BIANCA: “What space is required? Ensure the space between the hanging feature and the tables is adequate, and keep in mind peoples’ heights. Your florist should also note the proportions of the room and view the space to help determine the appropriate size for maximum impact. Cost is also crucial. There’s the cost of products, as well as the design, transport, installation and pack-down to keep in mind. Hanging installations create impact, but you need to be realistic about your budget.”
